Freelance Programmatic Business Developer

We are looking for a talented Business Development person with experience and proven performance. You are a sales pro with a strong understanding of the programmatic market, trends and ecosystem. You need to be a charismatic, energetic and resourceful person, with a proactive approach and a passion for success.


Our position requires you to have relationships and contacts with direct publishers & agency/advertisers across the digital landscape, understanding of the programmatic industry including trends, terms and technology. You will be joining our NYC office and will play a key role in expanding our business. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Generate leads, qualify, negotiate and sign revenue-generating partnerships with a focus on digital publishers
  • Identify market trends and understand client business goals to determine ideal solutions and products.
  • Create and execute sales pitches and presentations
  • Participate in the revenue forecasting process and establish targets
  • Identify new opportunities, strategize to engage new business, and develop a pipeline
  • Open doors to decision-makers and cultivate lasting relationships


Required work authorization:


  • United States
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 3+ years of experience in Publisher Sales or Ad-tech sales
  • A proven ability to cultivate and close new business
  • Demonstrated success fostering long-term relationships with digital publishers and brand decision-makers
  • In-depth understanding of the programmatic ecosystem and relevant facets including data, trading desks, ad exchanges, DSP/SSP’s, and DMPs
  • History of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with clients, management, and peers
  • Ability to multi-task and handle priorities
  • Ability to actively drive problems to resolution
  • Excellent team player, highly motivated, energetic and charismatic
