Freelance Programmatic Consultant

We are hiring a Freelance Programmatic Consultant to join our growing team in NYC. As a Programmatic Consultant you are a vital part of the performance team. You will be responsible for shaping the strategy as well as executing and optimizing digital media campaigns for clients you are working with. In order to be successful, you need to be:

 

A client service guru developing and maintaining relationships with publishers, brands, agencies, and trading desks to ensure programmatic success. The ideal candidate is a quick and autonomous learner who displays excellent communication skills, project management skills, and thinks creatively to solve client challenges.

 

You will maintain full ownership and serve in a proactive advisory role in monitoring, tracking, and delivering programmatic solutions, including assessing performance and optimizing accordingly. This role may also work with our technical services team being the liaison between our internal teams and the client.

  • Provide excellent customer service and end-to-end support to our programmatic partners, and become an advisory point of contact.
  • Build strong client relationships with proactive, thoughtful, and poised communication.
  • Act as the client’s programmatic expert - inspire out of the box thinking/booking/trading/strategy/solutions based on the clients’ goals and assets. 
  • Proactively up-sell additional strategies, products and solutions. 
  • Understand customer goals and key performance metrics.
  • Fully deliver on the projects objectives in the timeframe provided.  
  • Assist clients with PMP setup, troubleshooting, and prepare campaign reporting and analysis.
  • Partner with our support team to troubleshoot technical issues with external partners i.e. exchanges.
  • Evangelize and communicate the value proposition of various programs and provide solutions to technical concepts.
  • Determine root causes for customer successes and failures.
  • Contribute to technical documents and FAQs to document new developments and best practices.
  • First point of contact for tech resolution - effectively manage up strategy conversation within teams.
  • 3-5 years of account management experience with a digital/mobile ad sales platform or an exchange.
  • Understanding of online ad serving concepts (CPM/CPA/RTB/ROI), video, mobile, RTB, PMP, etc. 
  • Proficient with programmatic and Exchange platforms.
  • Knowledge of Google’s suite of products, various third-party ad serving platforms as well as other programmatic exchanges.
  • Experience with VAST/VPAID/HTML5 ad formats.
  • Ability to troubleshoot with ad exchanges/agencies/trading desks and drive solutions.
  • Knowledge of key industry partners: SSP’s, DSP, CTV, DMP’s, ATD’s, Viewability, Fraud, etc. 
  • Well versed in campaign setup and optimization techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Motivated self-starter, with solid customer service experience and a consultative mindset.
  • Works well in a close-knit team, instinctively shares product insights and documents new information.
